Machel Sedinam Kassah

machel.jpg

Born on Wednesday, 19th November, 1986 at about 11:36am. I am a Nigerian by birth, a Ghanaian by Relation and a Portuguese by name “Machel”.

I was born into a family of thirteen (seven gentlemen and six ladies) but unfortunately, two of our ladies have passed away. My Pop, Mr. Kofi Agbedor Kassah, is a retired teacher and my mom, Mrs Mary AkosuaKassah, a hairdresser (that is just an understatement cos she is more of a jack of all trades and a master of all)

I attended Ideal Nursery and Primary School, Abeokuta, Nigeria for my nursery education. In 1992, we returned to Ghana and I continued my schooling at Mac-Tetteh International School from 1993. I went on to Mawuli School for my Secondary education in October 2001 and completed in August 2004.

I underwent a System Support Certification at InfoTech Solutions for Six months and did an attachment at Mawuli School (my alma matter)as a Teaching Assistant for about four months then started a job as Computer Instructor and Technician of the Dzodze Children’s Resource Centre. Currently, I’m on study leave and schooling at Ghana Telecom University College reading Certificate in information Technology, courtesy of my big bro, Dr Alexander Kwesi Kassah, who is currently a lecturer at the University of Oslo, Norway.

Wondering what I like and don’t like ?

Ok!

;-) I like to work with computers, cos I want to become a Systems Administrator, so spend a lot of time with them. That’s not to say that I don’t have friends cos I have a lot of friends but I still enjoy making new friends. Most of my friends are technologically inclined. I like hanging out a lot especially with close pals. I don’t like people who always boast, show off and try to feel bossy over others cos I’m a very quite person (but not always).

This is all I have for you now….Hope to update soon with latest developments.. Chao….

I think using Ubuntu is a plus. This really made me to sit by my PC and discover something new. What I know (Windows) is close to nothing and I wanna do something useful than boastful. Linux is really helping me. Now I’m using Windows less to Linux coz it’s good to operate at least 2 OS. Experience yourself with linux and pass it on.
